Student Guidelines

General School Rules

  • Every student must bring the school diary daily. Loss of the diary will attract disciplinary action, a fine, and purchase of a new diary.
  • Admission is not allowed without the Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previously attended school.
  • Students must come to school clean and tidy in proper school uniform. Non-compliance may lead to expulsion from class.
  • Students must not remain in classrooms during recess or P.T. periods.
  • Students must maintain SILENCE while moving in corridors or verandas and walk in single or double file.
  • No student will be exempt from P.T. without a valid doctor's certificate countersigned by the Principal.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is compulsory. Leave of absence requires prior application from parents/guardians specifying Name, Class & Section.
  • Running, playing, or shouting inside the school building and verandas is strictly prohibited.
  • Verbal requests through servants for early dismissal will not be entertained.
  • Students must not leave school premises during class hours without the Principal’s permission.
  • All students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both inside and outside the school.
  • Irregular attendance, insubordination, inattention, obstinacy, or repeated breaches of school rules may lead to dismissal.
  • Absence without a leave note for more than 10 consecutive working days may lead to the student’s name being struck off the register.
  • Students causing damage to school property must compensate for it.
  • No books, magazines, or papers other than textbooks or library books may be brought to school.
  • Pupils are forbidden from bringing crackers, explosives, or other dangerous materials; offenders will face disciplinary action.
  • Money should not be lent, borrowed, or exchanged, and collections of money are only allowed with the Principal's permission.
  • The school is not responsible for the loss of money, books, or personal items. Lost articles must be handed over to the school office.
  • Students are prohibited from wearing gold ornaments.
  • Students should practice good manners, respect teachers and elders, and attend all school functions and meetings.
  • Minimum 75% attendance is required to be eligible for promotion to the next class.
  • All students are required to speak English within school premises.
  • Buying sweets, ice cream, etc., from hawkers outside the school is strictly forbidden.
